ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
We invite you to once again rediscover listening to your body from a somatic perspective. We will create a space that allows your physical sensitivity to expand and root itself in the experience of weight, release, and softness in movement.
Over these four-hour sessions each day, we will draw from Feldenkrais, Axis Syllabus, contemporary dance solo improvisation and contact improvisation to explore how modulating the body’s tonal tension can lead to movements that emerge with more grace and ease. It is not about virtuosity here, rather about giving yourself permission to inhabit your body with a deeper, more somatic kind of listening, so that effort transforms into easeful fluidity.

Romina Balletti
Originally from Argentina and now based in Ljubljana, I am a tango dancer and somatic educator. Together with my partner, I run a tango school, and since 2023 I have been training in the Feldenkrais Method. I currently offer group Feldenkrais classes in Ljubljana, sharing this practice as a way to move with more ease, awareness, and freedom.
Tina Benko
BA in Dance, Choreography from Dance Academy Ljubljana, MA in Cultural Studies from Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Co-author of different dance pieces and projects, dancer in projects of other artists. Between 2016 and 2019 she lived and worked as a permanent dance artist in LAKE Studios Berlin. At the moment she is, beside other performative interests, primarily focused on intensively studying (Movement Artisans, Berlin) and researching human movement through the lens of the reference system Axis Syllabus© (certified teacher since 2024). She is teaching under the umbrella of Wild Birds IDM and at Academy for Dance, AMEU in Ljubljana.
Gerónimo Dorkas
From Argentina, I’m a dancer, teacher, and movement researcher with over two decades of experience in the performing arts. I began teaching tango before the age of 20, and dance has always been my path.
While tango has been my main professional focus, I’ve continuously studied contemporary dance, contact improvisation, acrobatics, clown, improvisation, and other somatic practices. These disciplines have deeply enriched my artistic journey and expanded the way I understand movement, presence, and connection.
My work integrates tools that help cultivate body awareness, softness, and attention. I’m interested in a dance that is fluid, alive, and honest. One that listens: to the body, the other, the space, and what is happening in the present moment.
As a teacher, I aim to create spaces for exploration and transformation, where each person can reconnect with their physicality and discover movement from a place of curiosity and care.

O DELAVNICI
Vabimo vas k vnovičnemu procesu poslušanja svojega telesa skozi somatsko perspektivo. Na delavnici bomo ustvarili prostor, ki bo omogočil poglabljanje telesne občutljivosti in njeno sidranje v izkušnji težnosti, sprostitve in mehkobe v gibanju.
Vsak dan bomo v štiriurnih sklopih črpali iz metod Feldenkrais, Axis Syllabus, solo in kontaktne improvizacije, ter raziskovali, kako nam spreminjanje in prilagajanje mišičnega tonusa pomaga do gibanja z večjo lahkotnostjo, eleganco in fluidnostjo.
Ne bomo se ukvarjali z virtuoznostjo, temveč si bomo vzeli čas, da vstopimo v telo z globljo, bolj prisotno obliko poslušanja, kjer se napor lahko preobrazi v pretočno lahkotnost.

Argentinska plesalka tanga in somatska pedagoginja, ki skupaj s partnerjem živi v Ljubljani in vodi šolo tanga, od leta 2023 pa se izobražuje tudi v Feldenkrais metodi. Trenutno vodi skupinske ure Feldenkraisa v Ljubljani in to prakso deli z namenom, da v gibanje vstopi več lahkotnosti, zavedanja in svobode.

Dipl. plesalka, koreografinja, mag. kulturologije. Soavtorica več plesnih predstav in projektov, plesalka v projektih drugih avtorjev. Med leti 2016 in 2019 je živela in delovala kot stalna rezidenčna umetnica v LAKE Studios Berlin. V zadnjih letih se primarno posveča intenzivnemu študiju (Movement Artisans, Berlin) in raziskovanju principov ter poučevanju sodobnega plesa skozi zakonitosti človeškega gibanja skozi lupo referenčnega sistema Axis Syllabus© (certificirana pedagoginja od 2024). Poučuje pod okriljem Divjih ptic in na Akademiji za ples, AMEU.
Gerónimo Dorkas
Plesalec, učitelj in raziskovalec gibanja iz Argentine z več kot dvajsetimi leti izkušenj v uprizoritvenih umetnostih. Tango poučuje že od svojega 20. leta, a je bila plesna pot zanj vedno mnogo širša.
Čeprav je bil tango njegov glavni poklicni fokus, se je stalno izobraževal v sodobnem plesu, kontaktni improvizaciji, akrobatiki, klovnovstvu, improvizaciji in drugih somatskih praksah, ki so globoko obogatile njegovo umetniško pot in razumevanje gibanja, prisotnosti in povezanosti.
Njegovo delo združuje orodja za razvijanje telesne zaznave, mehkobe in pozornosti. Zanima ga gibanje, ki je pretočno, živo in iskreno, gibanje, ki posluša telo, drugega, prostor in trenutek, v katerem se dogaja.
Kot učitelj želi ustvarjati prostore za raziskovanje in transformacijo, kjer lahko vsak posameznik ponovno vzpostavi stik s svojim telesom in odkriva gibanje skozi radovednost in nežnost.
